How did you two meet?

In a small bar in Arbroath called the Millgate, we both went out with friends after being dragged out when we didn’t want to and then we met each other in the Millgate bar, spoke all night and Aaron asked for my number before I left. 6 years later we’re now happily married!

What was it that made you choose Bachilton Barn?

It reminded me a lot of my home, I grew up on a farm and both Aaron and myself love the countryside.

What was important to you when planning your wedding?

The most important thing to me was to remember that all of this planning was for the big day to be shared with Aaron and all our loved ones! As long as everyone was there, healthy and happy! This helped with my planning and also to make sure we both had equal ideas and inputs in for our big day!

Tell us about your big day! What was your favourite part?
If we could choose, everything would have been our favourite part! But I think our favourite part was when we had our little moment alone after the ceremony! Catching up and taking it all in! Looking at our beautiful wedding venue and telling each other how much we love and care for each!

What tips and tricks would you give to other couples planning their wedding?

Just take it as it comes! No need to stress or worry. Whatever happens will happen and your day will be special regardless - You’re marrying the love of your life! Take it all in as much as you can and embrace everything from start to finish! It goes by so fast - Take in everything and remember as much as you can!

How are you enjoying married life?

We are on cloud nine! It’s like it’s reignited the honeymoon phase again. We see so happy and in love and we wish we could do it all over again!
