How did you two meet?

In the Navy 8 years ago - we were in medic training together and started as friends!

What was it that made you choose Bachilton Barn?

We wanted a rustic feel, and a venue we could put our own stamp on that fit into our fantasy theme.

What was important to you when planning your wedding?

That we felt supported through the planning process, and that Bachilton made this smooth for us. The list of approved vendors was great, as well as the open days to meet prospective vendors.

Tell us about your big day! What was your favourite part?
My favourite part was the ceilidh and how we used it to really celebrate our day. Bryan loved the amazing food provided by the catering team.

What tips and tricks would you give to other couples planning their wedding?

That all plans go out the window on the day of the wedding, so just take a breath and go with the flow. The venue team and vendors have done this many times, and they'll make sure it runs smoothly, so just trust them to make your day magical!

How are you enjoying married life?

We are blissfully married and very much looking forward to our honeymoon in New York!

Shoutout to the Bachilton team first of all for keeping things on track and making the day run so smoothly! i'm a control freak so it was nice to finally relax!

The Regis Banqueting catering team were unbelievable, amazing food and the little gestures like keeping drinks and canapes for us was lovely. Also a really warm and attentive team, 10/10.

The timorous beastie bar staff were so efficient, i never saw a queue for drinks, brilliant team.

Crielly's creations wedding cake was delicious AND beautiful, would recommend her to anyone.

The ceilidh band/ DJ were amazing, really helpful with choosing our first dance ceilidh. The band were great at bringing energy and enthusiasm, and it was my favourite part of the day! Their piper was also great during the day, and played for our guests at different intervals while we got our couple photos which was a lovely touch.

Gavinos photobooth was great, lots of prop options and provided me with a copy of everyones photo - we had a great laugh looking at them the next day.

We loved our vendors and would absolutely choose them again/ recommend them to future couples.
